Having previously tried different studio classes but finding herself saying “yoga wasn’t for me”, it took a certain teacher and a new way of practicing on her own at home in order to ignite a shift. She then found herself rolling straight out of bed and onto her mat every single morning.
Curious as to what could be behind this pull and obsessed with learning new things, she began diving deeper with a 200hr Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow training in Greece. She has also completed a 25hr training in Elemental Flow and the Chakra system, as well as 40 hours training with Vicky Fox in yoga for people with cancer, or those who have been effected by it.
Yoga has, and continues to be a guide for her mental and emotional health and for bringing the body and mind into a conscious relationship.
She believes there is at least one communication or entry point in yoga for everyone, something you can connect to and from there, let grow. In that way, her classes are inviting, physically adaptive and broad in both their spiritual philosophies and techniques, to honour the individuality in all of us.
Believing in the importance of both active and restful practices to explore finding balance, she brings playfulness and a light heart into her classes and invites everyone to explore compassion, gratitude and possibility.
