Gillian McGhee

Gillian has been practicing yoga with Maureen at the Yoga Barn since 2017. Her offerings include strong vinyasa classes and soft flows that weave in elements of breathwork and yoga philosophy.

Gillian McGhee

Gillian has been practicing yoga since she was 16 years old and completed her 200hr yoga teacher training qualification in 2016. Since then she has completed a number of different trainings in Hindu mythology, Forrest Yoga, and Yoga Philosophy and has practiced internationally with several different teachers including Kino MacGregor and Ana Forrest. ​

You’ll find her vinyasa flows infused with playful energy and terrible jokes! To Gillian yoga is more than the physical postures that we do with our body it’s about how we feel when we’re doing them. Her strong flow classes are playful and energising; expect fun, creative flows and to get out of your comfort zone a little! And in soft flow classes she invites you to take cues from your body moving in a way that feels good for you. Her classes create a safe space for you to explore and experiment with movement creating a balance between strength and flexibility.
